The Mikado Jaws Offset Hooks with Twist Lock and Leadis an x-wide gap hook, with chemical sharpening, made with an almost indestructible steel wire, for spinning fishing in fresh and salt water with silicone lures.

This is a new series of Jaws hooks, with a screw-pin, on strong, forged hooks, with a very precisely adjusted lead weight. Mikado has installed on the shank of the Offset Jaws hooks, lead, to give ”rolling” lures an undulating movement during the fall. It is an ideal hook for all rubber baits, such as soft Swimbaits, Grubs and Shads for Pike,Bass, Catfish, Bluefish, etc.

The Twist Lock Centering Spring Pin is attached to the hooks eye and allows baits to be firmly secured, by inserting the pin in the center of the nose of a soft bait and then twisting it onto the Twist Lock coil spring, to rig perfectly every time. Different size of springs are matched to hook size to maximize holding power. The “Open” gap allows for more positive hook sets. This is the ideal offset hook for rigging Senko-style baits and other thinner profile silicone lures.
