The open cage design reduces the chance of getting your line trapped and makes changing spools simplicity itself.

The Classic fly reel disc drag has the same carbon fibre / teflon construction that you’d normally find on much more expensive reels. Strong enough to play a big fish on the reel and at the same time smooth enough that it won’t stick when playing a fighting grayling on a 2lb tippet.
