A long shank, medium wire gauge hook designed to keep delicate baits such as worm, crab, and mussel secure on the hook. The hook is based around a traditional Aberdeen style pattern but features two gripper barbs either side at the top of the shank which keeps the bait in place. This ensures that the bait sits properly on the hook and doesnt slip down the shank and mask the hook point. A good choice for flounder fishing as well as cod and bass fishing when using softer baits.
